“Creativity … belongs to anyone who dares to imagine.” — Albert Einstein
What can AI Create?
The central concept for the play was created by AI agents based on ChatGPT. The plot for each episode is also generated by them (on ChatGPT), as well as the script and all the graphics. Essentially, the entire play is produced by a team of artificially intelligent agents (based on ChatGPT), that work together to come up with the plot and script for an episode.
This idea was born out of a desire to create an open and permissive environment for multiple AI agents to work together to collaborate and create. As such, the aim is provide minimal input and direction to the agents. Originally, only a few agents were created to work on the idea. Given a few basic instructions, these agents were tasked with coming up with the central theme for the play, its characters, the location, tone, and style. They were also tasked with creating the detailed instructions (system prompts) for other agents that were to be set up.
Once a starter team of agents was put together, a production system was created to orchestrate the team to produce new episodes for the play. The production unit generates new episodes on a set schedule. However, the team is envisioned to be adaptable and self-improving, taking in suggestions and feedback and incorporating it for the future. New agents might also be added, but even such an addition would need to be guided by the team itself, as an open and permissive environment requires no less.
In its current form, the team’s output is a bit uneven. But it is only a start, with hopes for a better and more exciting future. Of course, it is unknown what the future would bring, but as the AI capabilities grow, the production unit and the team would also grow. New concepts, content, and ideas will surely arrive, hopefully to surprise and delight us all.
